Alpaca fibres are naturally warm, lightweight and free from lanolin, making them exceptionally soft to the touch. Their unique hollow-core structure provides excellent insulation while maintaining a light, airy feel.
Our alpaca rugs are made using hides from alpacas that have died of natural causes. The animals are not raised for their hides, as alpaca wool is considerably more valuable throughout the animal's lifetime.
Care instructions
Clean small areas of the fur gently with a sponge, mild soap and water. Avoid wetting the leather hide.
