Since 2009, Beach House Company has been bringing premium cotton jersey bedding to homes across Europe. Inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of the California coast, we believe everyday living should feel a little softer, a little slower and beautifully uncomplicated.

Our bedding is made from finely knitted 100% combed cotton jersey – the same naturally soft fabric as your favourite T-shirt. Breathable, easy to care for and designed to become even softer with every wash, it transforms the bedroom into a place for cosy nights, slow mornings and days lived at an easier pace.

The Story Behind Jersey Bedding

The popularity of cotton jersey bedding began in California during the 1990s, when designer Rachel Ashwell introduced the concept in her boutique. Inspired by the feeling of sleeping in an oversized T-shirt, she wondered why the same wonderfully soft fabric wasn't used for the entire bed.

The idea quickly gained a loyal following, and when Oprah Winfrey described T-shirt sheets as one of her favourite discoveries, jersey bedding became known to an even wider audience.

Today, Beach House Company creates bedding and homewear that bring together premium quality, timeless design and the relaxed feel of the California lifestyle.
